“How To Get More Done, Save More Time and Make More Money By Outsourcing The Right Way” training

Got a lot of great questions afterwards so I thought I’d send out a quick email

to everyone who was on the webinar with a list of the top questions and
their answers.

Here we go…
#1. Why do you not suggest having a VA?
Well, to be honest – I think having a
VA is fine – to start with. The problem
is thinking that having JUST a VA is
going to really propel you forward.

Every successful business has a full team
covering a wide range of skills – even if
it’s an outsourced team and they all only
work a few hours here and there for you.

See – it’s not the time that’s the issue,
it’s the wide range of skills your business
needs access to (From graphics to web
development to customer support and everything
else). No one person is going to have all that,
it’s impossible. So make sure you’re
building a team.

#2. What was that part about reducing risk when
working with new people?

• Start Small – don’t throw a huge
project (and huge payment) at someone new.
Start with something small so you know you
can trust them

• Pay attention to the “HOW” not just
the “WHAT” – yes you want good results, but
if the person / team are good they can quickly
learn how to get you the results you need. But
if they aren’t good at the “how” stuff – like
how they communicate, how their attitude is,
etc, etc then it won’t matter what kind of
results they get you at first, the
relationship won’t last.

• Spread the risk around – this kind of
builds on question #1.

Basically it’s just not possible to have one
person responsible for doing everything. Usually
it doesn’t work at all, but in the off chance
that it does for a bit, what happens when they
eventually leave you? Your entire business
comes to a halt.

I call it a ticking time bomb – so forget
about the myth of the magical VA making all
your problems go away – get a team and spread
that risk around. So when one person leaves,
everything else is still running smoothly and
you’re not risking your business.

#3. I wasn’t sure if what your teams do in
Done For You Solutions is what I need how do
I find that out?

Simple – you and I discuss it personally. I’m
not about to get involved with a client that’s
not a good fit so I'm more than happy to explore
that personally. And if my team’s not a good
fit for you, usually I know someone who is.
