This Roundtable will explore some of the multi-dimensional food challenges, e.g., hunger,
affordability, availability, food deserts, bias in school food programs and SNAP (food stamps). It will cover the importance of ensuring that strategies reach low-income residents, are led by authentic local leaders, benefit communities of color and are scalable. This is a preliminary Roundtable to help inform the PPC autumn Global 10-Day Jumpstart which will have a greater focus on the health disparities in communities of color laid bare by COVID.
