Holy Fire REIKI-I

Modern Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) comes from the ancient and sacred Tibetan healing practices rediscovered by Japanese born, Mikao Usui. Reiki, most easily translates as Universal Life Force Energy.

    Reiki I, Shoden, is most often used to accelerate the energy system of the practitioner. While it can certainly be used for the treatment of others, Reiki I encourages the student to begin the process of self investigation and self healing. As a true wholistic method for well being it is compatible with quality medical care and other alternative healing therapies. While not to be used exclusively as a substitute for medical treatment, Reiki provides a strong, enhancing, progressive alternative to use while under medical care. It is effective for all types of medical conditions and will energetically support the healee as well as the practitioner during treatments.

    Included in this class is a new form of Reiki, Holy Fire, introduced through William Rand and the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT). It is both powerful and gentle and provides purification, healing, empowerment and guidance. The new transmissions from the Holy Fire Reiki will be replacing the older Usui Reiki attunements. 

    Because Reiki is a pure form of healing energy it is not dependent on individual talent or previous experience. This one day workshop provides Reiki history versus mythology, the philosophy, hand positions for self-treatment, and chakra and aura information.
