Here are a couple of things I wanted to point out and questions to think about when building
your PR plan to fill your programs and offers:
  1. How does your program content connect to a hot topic for their audience? (What is the question your audience is asking? Focus on how you can answer their question).
  2. What unique conversation are you bringing to this potential article, interview, etc.? (Read their content. Know what has already been covered and bring a fresh perspective).
  3. How can you provide great content for their readers and create a reason for them to learn more about your event? (The ultimate is a link back to your event page).
A great start would be to create your wish list of publications, bloggers, podcasters, association newsletters, etc who can help you spead the word and reach your audience.
