Sophie's talk is geared toward starting conversations around the concept of self-love, and
how self-love is at the core of every true transformation. Having lost 200 pounds, I've spent a lot of time focused on how our relationships with ourselves translate to our relationships with others, and (ultimately) our relationship with the world as a whole. When we are locked in a cycle of self-hatred, we're already set in a destructive pattern (after all, we're willing to destroy ourselves, why not destroy everything else?) that can only be changed with self-evaluation, acceptance, and love.
In this session, you'll discover that:
• The more you love yourself, the easier it is to accomplish your goals
• We naturally fear the unknown, and the unknown parts of ourselves can cause anxiety that turns into hatred. by discovering ourselves, we can begin to accept ourselves
• Until we take better care of our bodies, we won't be capable of taking better care of the planet
